All that needs to happen is for Bill Murray to change his mind. The script is written and according to Aykroyd, sony is interested.

i wouldn't go so far as to say the script is finished. several drafts have been written by both aykroyd and ramis over the years, but i'm sure heavy revisions, or even complete rewrites, would be in order if the film were to move forward in preproduction.

I never meant its finished. But none the less, a script that has been revised at least a couple of times is out there. So from that point of view the movie would not be starting from 100 percent scratch. But I cant strees it enough that it woudl take ALOT to get it made.

Rocky 6 (which I'm actually looking forward to) has just been confirmed so I suppose anything is possible. That said. Stallone isn't getting the work that Murray is.

You either love em or hate em. I've read the beginning of Stallones script and if the rest is as good as what I've seen so far, this movie may actually be pretty good.

Ok, I'll be fair, I liked Rocky I-III completely, IV was OK… V was pushing it, VI is just too much, it really needed to be left alone.
