Ben Stiller's style is very far from Venkman's. No way, I really would not see it if that Dodgeball guy is the main star. Smith as Zeddemore, sorry, I'm against that one too. Winston is a serious character, he's not the one who always brings the laughs, and when he does (Eg; Twinkie scene) he does it in an entirely different sense than Will Smith. Like with Ernie, I'd rather they get an actor not known for comedy. Please, No Martin Lawrence or Eddie Murphy for Winston. Craig, probably your best choice. I'm not sure if he could pull off the hair due or being the smartest guy around. But he's playing a doctor in his newest film, so we'll find out how he does as the one with the brains. No clue who Neil Mather is.

That's an unusual amalgam cast…
My thoughts on Ben Stiller are already well known.
Daniel Craig as Egon? Unlikely given how he's now James Bond, and he's always carried the air of action about him even before he became the new 007.
Will Smith, there's been few films I've seen him in… if any, where I felt his talents were being wasted (MIIB is one of the few), but I'm not sure he'd be right for Winston if the character were still to be the down-to-earth type of guy… it'd be a bit like Eddie Murphy, his comedic style would be detrimental to the character he'd be playing…

Whoa!!!…..having the same characters played by new actors in a GB3 is the wrong idea….if thier were a GB3(and the old actors couldn't be in it) then new characters should be invented,like having the original ghostbusters train a new team…….out of all your picks I only agree with Orlando Jones…..but not as a replacment for the actor who plays Winston.
