Why'd you think ‘Shawn Wayans’ when you thought of ‘Roland Jackson’?

Hell, Alfonso Ribeiro could probably play Roland in a live action version as well as having done the vocal work for the cartoon… I certainly think he's more like Roland then Shawn Wayans.

If only the action figure of Roland didn't look so much like Gary Coleman…

I would vote for some new actors. One of the problems with GBII was that the premise was, in my humble opinion, pretty weak. If you put the same actors in GBIII, you would have to explain where they have been for all these years and it would not be pretty. New actors could start fresh. I just saw SuperBad and one of the things that made it work was that the actors played it straight. They did not try to be funny or “not another teenage nerd movie”. I think that some current comedians might work well. Not big name people, but talented people that can develop a persona and make it work. I like the Hell idea, but being a kid at heart and author of two books on Halloween (the holiday, not the movie), I would like to see a Halloween theme. Some of the writers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer would work well. I liked it when it first came on and wondered if they could keep coming up with interesting ideas that weren't stupid. They did not disappoint me. Just a few random thoughts.

Terminator 4 without Arnie is not a real Terminator movie…
Alien without Sigourney is not a real Alien movie

GHOSTBUSTERS III without Billy-Boy ist not a real GB Movie…

i think i may have said this before. but i think Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and Jason Lee wouldnt be a bad cast for a new team. ofcourse Pegg and Frost will have to put on their American accents. but thats just me. i think their chemestry would be perfect for Ghostbuster-type comedy.
