You know the Ghostbuster episode “Victor the Happy Ghost”. When I first saw the preview on YouTube I thought that looks sort of like Casper, except Casper has no legs, who else thought this?

With the name “Victor the happy ghost”, it's a pretty safe assumption he was a parody of Casper.

I always thought his UNhappy side resembled Mr. Hyde from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (graphic novel AND film).

i thought the point was to make him look like casper anyways tbh, the entires series did some episodes where they poked fun or made spoof characters based on other cartoon shows.
