I'm still torn about this after all this time…I voted for Dweeb originally, but one thing bothers me: I actually found occassion to use Dweeb in my stories. He actually worked with the concept of “deranged loser and would-be Ghostbuster” because that's what he was, a deranged loser and would-be Ghostbuster.
But I have yet to find a reason or motivation to put the Junior Ghostbusters in a fan fic.
Maybe to fulfill JMS's wishes and run over them with a truck, but that's about all I could muster.

I voted filmation. I actually didn't mind the junior ghostbusters. And I never really watch the Slimer shorts very much (watched a few of them and hated them) so I don't have a very high opinion of Dr. Dweeb.

Actually I'm surprised Slimer isn't on this list. He was good in the first 3 seasons but after he became the main focus of the show he really wasn't as good imo.

I voted for Prof. Dweeb. I can't say anything bad about the FGBs because I got to them before I got to RGB to any extent.
The Junior Ghostbusters, I can at least understand: a small group of kids who are very interested in what their heroes do and decide to tag along, not unlike the Baker Street Irregulars.
The Extreme GBs were an interesting if strangely-executed premise. I admit, I liked it, but I can't remember much if anything of it.
That leaves…Prof. Dweeb. I've never heard of him. He at least made an impressive debut in the Slimer! opening sequence, but that's about it.

That would be a good idea for the next video game: the bosses are the Junior Ghostbusters. And they make the likes of the Collector sweat bullets, ‘cause they know the GB’s methods and can counter them.
