Who thinks that Ghostbusters Hellbent is a good idea?

Guys, I think Hellbent is a bad idea and i've been saying it ever since i came here. I know that thing i got off kazaa is not the real scrip, but if there is at least some truth in it then hellbent is a bad script and the movie would be even worse.
The devil is not made dark enough and the ghostbusters use their old triks on them. It said in that file that they use goodmood slime on the satan to make him good. LAME!
I still wish GB3 to happen, but not hellbent. My script will be ready by the end of the year and I hope you'll take a look at it, but I'm afraid it'll not become a movie.
Talk to you again in a couple of months!

yeah, you're right… you shouldn't base your opinion on hellbent on some bogus, fanboy script. let alone one you downloaded off kazaa.

I like the Hellbent concept. Hell overflowing into our world is neat. But to have the GB's go and visit Hell is the question. Too much like the RGB toon. But if it isn't a long scene or just a one moment scene, than that'd be ok. We must remeber that the script reviewed was just the initial draft, hence before any conceptualised changes were made to it. Probably before Ramis or Reitman got their input it. When they all work together the outrageous stuff gets turned down in later drafts. So hopefully the new characters get tuned better by then (if it ever happens).
But why not have the old GB's come back at the end of the film where they have to save the new GB's? Say the new guys get into trouble and the old guys have to save them (one way to increase the old cast's particapation). That'd be a touching way of handing off the baton for them to save the new guys and saving NYC again. But again Bill Murray and the budget seem to be the problem overall.

The better way to do it, would probably be for the new team to come HELP the old team…not save them, but help, that'd be a better way of passing the torch…it should be the new team to the rescue since…with long term goals, Sony would be looking to hopefully get a few more sequels from the “new” cast.

Well. it's definitely not as good of an idea as the original or second Ghostbusters, but given the fact that I've waited for years for a 3rd movie, if it came out, I'b be happy as a kid in a candy store.
