Well, that's partly true, though GBII won't be happening in the 88MPH universe and a comic medium is different from films, the actors and characters looking different is easily explainable and so doesn't affect continuity. Differeing from films is a different issue, as there'd be no explanation and being open when they were supposed to be shut down would render things pretty much impossible to use.

I am absolutely against Dave Chapelle or Chris Rock or any other COMEDIAN playing Winston Zeddemore. The screen presence is all wrong and those guys could not pull of the part the way Hudson did. The reason Winston is so great is because he isn't a comedian, his lines come across with a seriousness that counters the sarcasms of Venkman, yet are still amusing.

For example, the Mayor's office scene from GBI. Sitting to the side all quiet, then going off about seeing shit that would turn you white. Or the ever famous “If Someone asks you if you're a god” line. I don't think Rock or Chapelle, or most other actors in the black community can pull off that role.

Unless its a remake keep the origionals. I personally like Aykroyds idea about the origional cast playing a supporting role with a few new GB's

I'm not sure if this is just for ‘replacing’ the old GB's, which is something I would rather not do as I love those actors, but one person who has been on my mind for a long time as a ‘new’ ghostbuster (if Ghostbusters 3 were to ever be made) is Kevin James from The King of Queens. If Bill Murray weren't to reprise his role as Peter than we would probably need another strong comic role and I feel that Kevin James is definetly someone I could see in a jumpsuit. Idk if you guys agree with me, but I really feel strongly about that.

Yeah… You can't change who played those characters. No matter how great of an actor one is. People will always the original actors in those roles. Plus, at this point the Ghostbusters will be almost a spin off of Extreme Ghostbusters, in the sense that the original guys are all too old to be running around. I do like the idea of the original guys in the end saving the say though. I also like the idea of Oscar being apart of the new team. But other than that you can't discuss who is gonna be in the new movie without knowing roles. But if I were a betting guy Oscar will and rightfully should be in it…

So who would play Oscar? Well Oscar can't be too old seeing as GB2 came out in 89… So he'd be like 15, 16 maybe 17 depending on how old he was in that movie. So the person would have to be a young actor… No one is really coming to mind… And no not that little kid from Punk'd or Quintuplets. Maybe the Man Show Boy AKA Andy Milanokis… But I'm only saying that because I just watched his show and he could pass as 15-18 years old. So you would have to cast an unknown.

As far as others to put in there who would form a good team… Chris Farley… Too bad he's gone, I know he was a possiblity if the movie was to happen. David Spade could fit in. But if I were to form a new team it would have to be 4 people that wouldn't be carbon copies of the originals. So maybe you shouldn't cast Chris Rock, although funny… He would make it 3 white guys and 1 black guy and that would be too predictable. Will Sasso could fit in well too as the non-scientist type guy. But again its hard to say who if you don't know roles.

The fact that anyone would want to recast any of the roles is just stupid. Can someone out their please tell why you would want to do that….EVER. Here is what I think, someone should hire the cast of The Real Ghostbusters, and you make a Ghostbusters 3 cartoon, then you can go home to your wife and kids and say… HONEY I've just shot Dave Coulier in his head, because noone likes him, and his hair was too long in Full House. One more question….why would you remake, or prequel….or seprequel or presequel between I and II, and still call it GB3………what do you think this is……From Dusk Till Dawn 3………..or Tremors 4…………Besides their are to many remakes… who do you think you are? Hollywood……by 2010 we will all be watching remakes……we will be watching so many remakes….none will know which one is the remake, and which one is the orignal………i can't wait untill they make some dumb movie and then they remake it the next year………and then they give all of the remakes prequels……because…..because…….awww heck I done said enough…..
