I've currently come to the conclusion that Ryan Reynold NEEDS to play a ghostbuster. I dont know how many of you have seen his new film ‘Just Friends’, but he says “I'm going to miss him–” JUST like Venkman does to Peck in GB1.

holy crap! i just saw that movie last night and when he said that i went “OH MY GOD GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!!!!!” and jumped up and pointed at the screen. im lucky that there were only six other people in theater haha. that had to be a deliberate nod to the movie, theres no way anyone could do that naturally, saying those exact words in that perfect tone. but after seeing that, i want to write reynolds into my gb3 story. it was that inspiring.
also, does anyone think that he would be perfect to play chevy chase's role in fletch. he's almost a carbon copy.

Well I doubt that all of the actors would be willing to come back, and if a remake were made…i truly think that Winston would be the hardest to cast. The only problem with him was that he was funny, yet serious. The most popular black actors right now are either Super funny, or deathly serious. Winston was very in between.
Winston also seemed to be older and more mature than the rest of the team at times. Egon was just smart, not exactly older. The only actor capable of playing winston in my opinion would be samuel L jackson, because he is mature and funny. And he also has the whole “ older, yet still cool” vibe going for him
