well he looks dumb… and Dr. Venkman doesn't look that dumb… Ryan's acting might be good but he doesn't has either the sexy look or funny side… even Murray, old as he is, would still look a thousand times better…

Not that I'd ever ACTUALLY seriously consider him as a Ghostbuster… but I wonder if Hugh Laury (House) could do the job?

I didn't say rodriguez because of a racial standpoint, if I recal in the extreme ghostbusters he was kind of the venkman replacement personality wise, but really I've heard worse names put out for ghostbuster replacements, I honestly would die if kid rock or dave chapelle, or adam sandler took the mantel as a ghostbuster. But the venkman character never took being a ghostbuster seriously he was in it for the fame, publicity, and to get the girls, and honestly the fan pic a few pages back of ryan reynolds in the gb jumpsuit absolutely sold it. And if you watch Just Friends I think Ryan Reynolds character slightly resembles the Peter Venkman character at times. Needless to say the list of actors that could do the job the original cast did is slim to say the least, but not an impossible task at all
