i'd like to see them duke it out in a war of words. but the only way they would both be in the movie would be if louis could support janine with his new gb job *shudders* and they moved in together
what about steve martin and eugene levy? eugene and harold worked together on sctv, and dan, bill and steve worked together on snl, so we could expect the same type of comedy we saw all those years ago. plus dan and steve worked together on sgt. bilko. o…er…wait, nvm that

Keep all the originals. . .if someone doesn't come back, don't replace them but add a new member, but ONLY ONE. We don't need a new team, but you do need a younger guy learning the ropes from the aging guys, mainly Ego and Ray who know the technical stuff. But the guys aren't that old, they can still bust, just like cops still walk the beat. They hire one new guy, train him, and then when they're finally too old the newer guy, now a normal member would bring in some new people and be the connection to the younger team and the older one. No wiping out the old team and replacing them, that is too harsh.
