I can deal with an “older” cast. Ernie Hudson is immortal and never ages.

But considering how the GB franchise is continually pooped on, this is well into “rumor” land for me.

Ghostbusters 3 news is getting out of CONTROL. It is the main story on the Yahoo! main page at around 12:40 AM US EST. My goodness…

*Man do I EVER get sick and f'ing tired of hear the same tired phrases "LIKEOMGODZ A NEW TEAM WOULD BE LIKE THE BOMBZ!111!!!“ or ”LIKE THIS GUYZ IN THIZ NEWR KVLT COMEDIE WUD BEZ GREATZ AZ THE NEWZ RAY Z ANDS EGONZ!!"…

*BULLOCKS!!…Why is it that everyone seemingly [with a few exceptions] want to "show the originals the door" and bring in HACK “actors” as their "replacements"? Yeah they're old - BUT NOT ANCIENT…Nothing alittle CGI editing, make-up, or fake hair pieces can't fix…Maybe even a little *GASP* exorcise maybe if they so saw fit?…

*And yes “GBII” was a bit of a dissapointment…But it WASN'T the acting that was to blame - IT.WAS.THE.SCRIPT. …

*As far as I'm concerned there's NO NEED for "new recruits“, or ”replacements“, save for if they want to make a 4th, 5th, or 6th or some jazz, and the principles are absolutely no longer available for whatever reason…And that premise of ”new guys" can be saved for future installments, if it even goes that route…

*We can do without Rick, and even Sigourney [SORRY but it's true - Don't want a retread? - Axe the secondaries as major players…Cameos are fine]…But Bill, Danny Boy, Harold, Ernie, and Annie?!…

*Everybody was crying foul about GBII back-in-the-day…And all the principle actors were there …A GB movie without said principles, or not in the capacity as they were - The movie would be DESTINED TO FAIL…Remember the lukewarm reactions to EGB, back in good 'ol 1997? I sure do…And some people STILL feel “eh” towards said “spin-off”…Some still don't know it EVER EXISTED…
