also,just read something about Matty.com being told the specific amount of Stay-Puft's they could sell on the site,but when it came time to start shipping,the number they were given and the actual number that they received to ship out were different,as in not as many arrived as they were told they could sell….hence some orders not shipping,or being cancelled….

Have any orders actually been canceled or is it just speculation? I got the first one I ordered at like 12:10, but I decided to pick up a second before he sold out so I haven't recieved the later one. I'm not really that worried if I don't get him, I'm just glad I got the first one I ordered.

No one's order status on MattyCollector actually says “canceled” or “backorder” to my knowledge. It's simply that people who haven't gotten a shipping confirmation are getting anxious and sending e-mails and are being met with the fact that the figure is on back-order.
If it hasn't shipped yet, you may or may not be in danger of your order being canceled. They haven't really been too upfront about it. They might get more, they might not. Only the people who have shipping confirmations right now would be the ones that I'd say could guarantee that they're getting them.
