Yet, in that NYCC news article that you refer to, they once again confirm the trap's release date of 10/17. It's not delayed, it's just not up on the site.

Everyone complaining about not seeing a price really needs to stop. The price is $135. They've said it several times. Yes, there were also some rumors that it would be $120, but here's an idea… save $135 for it. If it's less, then you have extra money left over. I can almost guarantee it will not be more.

As for the marketing, who cares. The line is ending. They don't need to market it. If anything, that should make you happy as fewer people may know about it and then it might be easier to get on the site to buy it.

I was just recently wondering if that is actually Matty's plan. Seeing as how most people were displeased with how many scalpers were able to buy large quanitites of the Mystery Box and PKE, maybe they took those complaints into consideration and are backing off the marketing in an attempt to make it an easier purchase for the hardcore fans?

It's a long shot, but I could see that being the case. After all….we all know about the trap. Not much need to advertise it to us anymore. Although I would still like some high quality shots of the thing. Just to wet my beak until it arrives…

That. my fellow Ghosthead, is the $64,000 question(no I'm not old enough to see it on tv, but I get the reference). As it's made of plastic it may not be all that heavy. Size of the shipping box is something else. I took another Ghosthead's sage advice and squirreled away the $135..plus an extra $25 to (hopefully) cover shipping/tax/whatever. Like with the PKE, we won't know the final cost until we're in the ordering process.

You signed up for the 2011 subscription, and you're going to get Slimeblower Ray and Vigo.

There is no 2012 subscription.

Anyone see that Matty is having a Ghostbusters Halloween sale where you can get the 12“ guys for 48 and the others for 16? They have had to make way to many of the Ghostbusters. I'm thinking about picking up 3 of the 12” (I have Venkman).
