Got the trap ordered. Freaked me out about the sold out and almost gone wordings though. The PKE Meter is a shame. I'd really like to get one still, same with my brother. No way am I going on ebay for this. I just don't get it. Why can't they re-release it again? Aren't these practically being made on demand? Do they not cover their production costs based on the orders or thru their price for us to pay? I know about supply and demand but isn't it at least cost effective based on the amount ordered? Last time I posted about this others said Mattel would wait for Ghostbusters 3 to possibly do this. Why? Are they gonna give a mass retail release (like Hasbro's Starwars Light sabers eventually after they took over Master Replica) or still thru matty collector site?

Presumably they don't see as much demand for a second release this side of a new Ghostbusters movie coming out. They've said that if Ghostbusters 3 does get made, then they'd likely re-release the PKE.

I imagine it would be a proper retail release.

Well yes, the PKE would be the only prop they've released thus far.

But it wasn't listed for sale twice. People lucked out and got it in their Mad Matty Monday packs. That's not the same thing.

The PKE was listed once, sold out, and has never been re-released. I see no reason why they wouldn't handle the trap the same way. That's all I'm saying.

The PKE has only been for sale once, and the trap is the 2nd prop ever officially made by mattycollector

Any wagers as to how much longer the trap will be listed as “Almost Gone”? If it lasts another day then I'd call it BS on the part of MattyCollector. Less than 3 hours after it was put up for sale I saw the Almost Gone warning, and I find it a little suspicious that 30+ hours later it's still not sold out yet.
