With the Taxi Cab ghost and RTBY Pete being released tomorrow, I was thinking about getting the Taxi Cab Ghost a ride.

Although one is available on the USA Amazon site, I have found a nice 1:18 scale 1981 Taxi Cab from a UK seller, seems the cheapest around for us UK fans.

1/18 Checker A11 New York Cab 1981 Diecast Model

£43.19 + £3 shipping.

The 1981 Taxi Cab is slightly different to the one used in the film, the advertising board on the roof being the main difference, but close enough I think.

Same here. No waiting at all. After having the sub last year, I wasn't looking forward to seeing the “White Screen of Death” again for a regular sale day, but there's wasn't a hint of it this morning.

Shouldn't be. Matty/TG/who-ever has said that the line will consist of 4 figures this year. We just have no idea who/what the 4th figure will be.

After that - it's really up in the air as to whether the line will continue further, and personally I'll bet a lot of that depends on the news (or lack thereof) of GBIII this year.

We still have the Rookie coming, not sure if I will bother with that one though.

I would think we would get another GBII Courtroom Battle figure to go with Venkman, as most of the parts can be re-used from other figures, except for the pack in item if it's going to be the other Scolari brother.

If something doesn't appear from Mattel during [I]New York Toy Fair[/I] this time next month, then we'll definitely see something at San Diego.

I vaguely remembering matty saying that those of us that signed up for 2012 ecto club, before it was canceled, would be getting a special thank you. Anyone have any speculation what that could be? My guess, either some sort of free shipping or discount or a sticker. I doubt it will be anything to fancy.

bigtonay - you are correct. The most recent information from Matty was that they "hoped" to have information about the "thank you" at NYTF.

As to your question as to what it could be - I have no idea at this point. Originally, I was thinking a promo code that would drop the price of the figures back to the $20.00 Club price would make the most sense - and be relatively simple as there is already a "promo code" entry blank during the check-out process. But as RTBY Venkman's now been released (and I'm sure bought by most of us) - that's not it.
