Who's up for nominating some new moderators?

Hmmm….that does seem excessive, though.

I think the number we have now is fine. I think THIS should be the limit. if one goes, then by all means, we SHOULD get him replaced.

Do not think this as an insult towards the Moderators, but if there are so many as everybody says, why at certain times there are no moderators here on the site? And before anybody says this, I know that they have lives outside of a message board. Just a question, really.

Think of it as a volunteer fire department. Nobody might be in the station, but they are always one call away. Nobody has schedule shifts, so it is hard to guarantee people will be manning the station at all times. They do the best they can, and 9 times out of 10 there are always multiple mods on the scene. It's a fact of life, no matter how many mods there are.

Dr. Riddle
If it's settled that no more mods are needed, then can this thread be locked?

It's still up for vote, but let's see how things work out with Sinister too.

I think we have enough mods. Plus whenever I'm online, there's usually three or four mods online too.

I think this can all be settled with another community vote. Even though this thread already has one, we should make an official vote and let the people decide once again. What do you think, Chad? Fulfill empty mod positions (Ye or Nay)?

Here is my interpretation of the most fair way to go about this.

Start a new thread. Have the mods not vote. Have only the people vote. Give the poll a week. Then finish it up. IF the people vote for or against in that week, determines the final decision. Because an ongoing poll like this cant be settled. so inform everyone they have a week to vote, then its final.

This thread reflects the community opinion. The mods are members of the community, therefore they are also entitled to a vote. Just like the president and all the candidates have a vote.

NOBODY is above anyone else, and this is a direct representation of that.

Im not saying we are above, im just saying that we should sit it out. But meh, whatever, we can vote, i dont care really. I just think the poll should restart with only a week to vote. That way the votes would come in faster, and the decision could be reached faster
