why dont they make a ghostbusters sitcom

what would be the point of a sitcom? that would be too over-rated. besides, they did the next best thing… the Real Ghostbusters!

I was talkign about this with one of my freinds a wile back and it funny you guys should mention it. I think it's a great idea and would be a blast, but to do it right they have to release GB3 or re-release GB1, 2…each episode would consist of one ghostbust or investigation, something on those lines. The problems are that ghostbusters is old and not many peopel would tune in, kinda like the live version of the tick, and another reason, threee words: Sony and Murry.

Seinfeld sucks.
Ghostbusters would be too expensive to make as a sitcom.

It would be the funniest show on TV if Bill Murray was in it. But I could never see it working. Like Mario says, it would probably be too expensive.

Definately not, that would be like dropping a bomb on the city wink. Anyone see a little show released not too long ago called The Tick? While there were some funny moments and lines, it was missing the instant action and comedy that the original had, it dropped it for the sitcom feel. Big mistake in my book, and the same would probably happen with Ghostbusters.

How would that even work? Yeah, “Ghostbusters” is a comedy, but it's not built for a sitcom.

I'd also like to say that I think Seinfeld's pretty funny.
