Why SHOULD Ghostbusters III be made?

Because it's a brilliant franchise. Dan Aykroyd is a brilliant actor and writer, whether it be comdeic or dramatic. Bill Murray or no Bill Murray, I still think this film needs to be made immdeiately. To think he wanted out. Besides, all the other old films are having sequels (not just the Disney junk from way back when with trashy sequels). T3 is in the works, Robocop 4 is on its way, Indiana Jones 4 might be a possibility, Star Wars has had many sequels and prequels that it just isn't funny anymore… I could go on. Those are all the reasons I can think of at the moment.

I totally second that, Zack.. I've only been here for a month or two and i don't think a new topic has come up. We NEED A GB3 FOR OUR HEALTH'S SAKE!!

1. Because the worst movies imaginable have gotten loads of sequels (Critters, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St.) while an excellent movie like Ghostbusters has plenty of room for good material.

2. Many older movies are being revised (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Terminator, Turtles) so why not GB?

3. GB is slowly being forgotten (not by us ofcourse but other people).

4. I love Ghostbusters. Is that a good enough reason?
