Why Terminal Reality, why?

Well, it's been roughly a week and I still have not heard back from Terminal Reality's PR person.

Let's face it, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is dead. It did well, but not well enough to save a dying company. As a result, any and all support for Ghostbusters: The Video Game is non existent. No patching. No DLC. And no sequel. Activision knew that this game didn't have the potential to reap millions of dollars and that's why they sold it off. Atari gambled and chose to pick it up. That gamble didn't pay off.

We're just going to have to enjoy the game for what it is and stop wishing for more. After all, it is superior to every previous incarnation of Ghostbusters, even with all its issues.

Maybe if Ghostbusters 3 gets made, or Sony decides to “reboot” Ghostbusters in the near future, we'll get another crack at a quality Ghostbusters game, but that won't be for a couple of years at the earliest.

Activision doesn't know jack shit, and if they did still have this franchise, they would've ground it into the ground so much like they're doing with Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk and Call of Duty that we'd be sick of it by now.

We could be sick of those games… but those are still selling out by millions. GB are no competition to a Call of Duty. Let´s face it.

It might not be competition, but lets face it, it's got something that those other games don't, quality, and honestly quality > quantity any day of the week.

That's not really fair. Modern Warfare 2 might be contrived, by the books and just another run of the mill shooter (also, anti-PC Gamer)… but quality it is not lacking. It is highly polished and clearly infinity Ward put in a lot of work into creating the game.

That doesn't matter to me, all that matters is that it's published by Activision, and anything published by Activsion is a DO NOT WANT situation for me ever since they unnecessarily pushed Ghostbusters and the other titles away.

Sure, Activision and EA are terrible companies… but you said Ghostbusters had Quality and implied that Call of Duty didn't. I just don't think that's fair to say.

What can I say, I don't like constantly rehashed games made by a company run by a gigantic asshole like Bobby Kotick, and as least EA has the balls to try something new every once and a while.

I have to admit, that until Modern Warfare came along, each installment in the Call of Duty series looked identical when compared with each other.

Like I've mentioned, that doesn't bother me cause I quit purchasing Activison/Blizzard products the day that they dropped Ghostbusters and the other titles, and I will continue not to buy them until Kotick is out of postion as a top Activision CEO, which doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

I wish they could release something like what Epic did. Released a map pack with a level that was deleted, but was mostly done.

I also somewhat glad this game didn;t get that much over-hyped work because Ghostbusters is something I don't want spoiled by “big business” as they say just to make a quick buck.
