Well, it's been roughly a week and I still have not heard back from Terminal Reality's PR person.
Let's face it, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is dead. It did well, but not well enough to save a dying company. As a result, any and all support for Ghostbusters: The Video Game is non existent. No patching. No DLC. And no sequel. Activision knew that this game didn't have the potential to reap millions of dollars and that's why they sold it off. Atari gambled and chose to pick it up. That gamble didn't pay off.
We're just going to have to enjoy the game for what it is and stop wishing for more. After all, it is superior to every previous incarnation of Ghostbusters, even with all its issues.
Maybe if Ghostbusters 3 gets made, or Sony decides to “reboot” Ghostbusters in the near future, we'll get another crack at a quality Ghostbusters game, but that won't be for a couple of years at the earliest.
Activision doesn't know jack shit, and if they did still have this franchise, they would've ground it into the ground so much like they're doing with Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk and Call of Duty that we'd be sick of it by now.
