Why wont they make GB3?

i know all of you loyal ghostheads think that its because of budget problems or Sony. But how could some light streams and stuff like that cost so much money? I mean c'mon 600 million dollars, thats just plain ridicouls. The real reason Gb3 will not be made is BILL MURRAY!!! C'mon all u guys have read the interviewswith dan akroyd and in every one he says its because Bill Murray owns one fifth of the franchise and he does not want them to do it. Even if he isnt in it. He wont even sell his rights. Also for him to be in the movie he wants a huge a paycheck. C'mon Bill just let us do the movie. Its time every one to open their eyes and see that its not budget problems or Sony. We need to start makn petitions for him not Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis, Ivan Reitman and Sony. If we want another GB we have to go after Bill Murray.

I want to see GB3 just as much as everyone else here, but there aren't enough people elsewhere. So you can't blame Bill Murray, you have to blame all the people who want something more. I'm sure that if Ghostbusters was as popular as Manga and Anime, and everyone wanted to see a third movie, Bill Murray would do it in a heartbeat. But right now, it would probably only hurt it, and that's what he's afraid of.

i dont think so ghostbuster_d. Ghostbusters 2 made 29.5 million in the first 3 days alone. It made over 112 million all together. Bill Murray is not worried about that at all. He knows how big ghostbusters is and how much people like it. He is just getting to be an old fart.

And another thing. Most people growing up in the 80's liked ghostbusters. Now that it is 2002, the kids that saw ghostbusters in the 80s are now adults, some with kids of their own. If they liked ghostbusters, and Ghostbusters 3 came out, they would bring their kids and get a whole new generation to like ghostbusters. Like i said before, Bill Murray is just an old fart.

I really would like to see GB3. The first two were fantastic.I know Bill Murray is not intrested. I heard that Sigourney Weaver dosen't want it either. I really hope they both realize that alot of people liked Ghostbusters…and alot of them still do. It would be nice for this generation to see what the Ghostbusters are realy like!!!!
