It's Ray. Most of the articles have only mentioned Ray and Egon being involved in the Library levels, so assume it's Ray unless we're told otherwise.

That is an awesome poster…. just really wish the guy wasn't standing there!

If you look closely to the poster you can see some black spot at the venkman character. It could be that they've made a poster but at the time making this one didn't had the likeness rights of Bill Murray. I think they've done that to becareful and not being sued or something.

Actually I just noticed that behind the head of the guy standing in front the poster, where Venkman's head should be, its a black spot with a white dotted line going around it. As if to make it out to be that the person in the middle will be you aka the New Recruit.

Yeah, I notice that. The face seems to be a complete blank.

So does this mean that Venkman will not make an appearance in the game? At least in Ghostbuster form? This would be very dissapointing. For me and a few others that is. (*peter) :-(

I am going out on a limb here.

But Murray did voiceover work for Garfield 2.

Going to a studio and doing voice over work is MUCH easier than running around New York and LA with a 30ish pound proton pack on your back. They sold us by saying Murray's involved, I am taking them at the word.

*I don't know why everyone's thinking that there will be “No Venkman” - Bill's CONIFIRMED in all but one thing I've read , that Bill is indeed locked into the project…And I have NO DOUBT that he's involved…

*From what I've gathered from my many years of being a “ghosthead” is that Bill is VERY finicky about his likeness, and being as though he's agreed already, he's probably the most picky about how he's portrayed in the game…

*I.e. - Probably why we haven't seen a in-game/promo shot of him yet…The game isn't set to be COMPLETE until NEXT fall, and as such we haven't seen EVERYTHING just yet (*peter) …

*I know as well as the rest of you know that he was the “last-nail-in-the-coffin” for “GBIII”, and not wanting to be involved…But I have my suspicions about that on three different levels:

1] GBII, while not “flopping” outright, didn't do near as well as all of them had hoped .

2] He's OWLD. Him now, as oppossed to him in 1984, or even 1989, probably isn't something he likes to think about, nor would he probably want to invision himself carrying around the infamous “unlicensed nuclear accelerator” and his 50-something mug plastered all over the freaking place in connection to a “new movie”. Much like the other guys in the franchise he seems VERY self-conscious, and as such probably didn't want to see himself in that role again, at least not in “live-action” form.

3] The “been-there-done-that” syndrome that all of us aren't immune to, including Mr. Murray…

*Now as for the likeness rights for the then-proposed NECA action figures - I can't even begin to answer that one…Selfishness? But then again none of the other guys agreed either …

*But he's been doing “voice work” for at the very least a few years now, and I'm pretty sure, as judging from Harold/Dan/Ernie's renderings, he'll be MORE than happy with his in the end…

I do have my facts right! The question isn't if Murray is coming back, but it's if he's coming back as a Ghostbuster. I know Murray is going to be in the game, but Akroid didn't have him written as a Ghostbuster in the third script, even when Murray said he'd do it, so he may not be a Ghostbuster in this one. You may be right though, as Murray has been known to be VERY picky about his image and all.
