will the entire cast from the films be in there? will the first comic(s) relate to the first movie?

Dana: Real big question there. But I've gone into that before…

Walter Peck: I hope so. He's an enemy the Ghostbusters couldn't just zap and lock away in the Containment Unit, a potential recurring nemesis of the kind missing in RGB. The GBI game made great use of him, suggesting that after he's fired from the EPA he starts a consumer advocacy group, the “Fraud Squad”, and of course the Ghostbusters are a prime target of his actions. This would be a great idea to be reborn in the new continuity!!!

I hope they'll keep the EPA firing him in the Core Continuity. It's a well known fact that was indeed fired after GB1. :s :d
