UMM, The Transformers comic had ALOT to do with the movie. Obviously, sells are very good for the comic so they are now making a movie out of it. Stop over looking the obvious, people.

A new theatrical movie-Highly doubtful

We can all hope for a new movie, but after GB II and the recent troubles Sony has given Dan over his GB III script I think the chances of the comic book being “the reason” for a third film is slim. And like many have mentioned before, the guys from the original two films are too old to play the leads now, and from what I gather, Murray has no interest in a future project.

The best I think we can hope for is a re-release of the original film like we've seen with the Star Wars Trilogy, The Exorcist, Alien (this Halloween), etc. which, if it does well, may convince Sony that there is life in the franchise. And I am betting that Sony is going to do just that next year for the 20th anniversary, which is probably what has prompted the deal with 88MPH in the first place. But I think if they decide to make another film they avoid the title of GB III. Instead, I would like them to do what was done with the recent GB cartoon name-wise; call it Ghostbusters “something” or “something” Ghostbusters. Having lost 20 yrs since the first film, and the fact that new characters for the leads will be necessary, this makes the most sense to me.

Those are very recent pics of the main cast. They all look great. Listen, if freakin Harison Ford (in his 60's!) can come back for Jones 4. And Arnie (in his 50's) can come back for T3. Then, the GB cast can definatly come back.

You guys act like the GB fanbase isnt that big. Look, the GB fanbase is alot bigger than the Transformers fanbase and look what's happening to them. If this comic goes big, expect Sony to jump on GB3 or some form of movie. They arent stupid, if they see something being successful, they're gonna try and make more money. They arent just about to release a comic and that be it. Bigger and better things will come due to this comic and it wont be just another cartoon. And maybe it will be just a re-release of Ghosbusters, but if that does good (which its obvious it would), then Sony would definatly greenlight a new film. Stop over looking the obvious people! Comics have to be around for a long time before they garner that kind of attention. It took the X-Men 40 years to do that. Besides, do we really want a GB3? It's just gonna suck because only Aykroyd will really be into it or it's just gonna be a live action EGB.

And Tobin, more goes into it than how the actors look. It's how they feel. I'd hate to clue you, but I don't think Bill Murray is as fit as Harrison Ford or Arnold Schwarzenaggar (I know that isn't spelt right–oh well). And what the real prob with GB3 is this–none of them want to do it anymore. I doubt even Aykroyd cares at this point. I'm sure he'd rather write the comic.
