Sorry, guys. I know you are all tight in here and I come from the outside with different views, and it throws you off…I just don't think much of Winston…not really a fan..Never understood why they needed him in the first place when all he really wanted was a paycheck and wasn't part of the original 3..the guy didn't even believe in ghosts..he comes out as greedy with me.

Did you stop watching the movie after Winston was hired and disregarded the entire 2nd movie altogether to form that opinion? I don't know about you, but I consider anyone who willingly risks their life to save others for a paycheck is anything but greedy.

I'm more of a Ray fan…

I like Ray, but Peter's my fav.

I disagree…Winston was a joke..he wasn't really a ghostbusters..he was like a Janitor. I don't care what ernie has done in real life or whatever..His character is pretty lame in my opinion. he says some dumb things..I think i'd rather see someone else in his place..he's not really that funny.

Obvious troll is obvious.

Winston is the skeptic.
I am certainly in favor of more screen time for him.

SAYS DUMB THINGS!!!! ARE YOU AN IDIOT!?
winston had some of the most memorable quotes …
“thats a big twinkie”
“i have seen shit that will turn you white”
“i love jesus' style.
and lets not forget he had the last say in the first movie
”I LOVE THIS TOWN"
SOOOO
yes he is should have just as much respect from us as we give for the rest of them

Winston was and still is my favorite Ghostbuster. I would love for him to have more time on the screen and remember he's aged a lot more better than the rest of the guys.

I actually think he's getting younger.

I agree if they can give Winston a bigger role, do it, but I just don't see this happening. I think with this concept of passing the baton and training new GB's, I'm under the impression all of the old GB's will already have smaller roles. Now I could be wrong, but how can they fit all these characters and two groups of GB's in one film? But it seems set that they will have smaller roles, maybe like supporting roles. I'm thinking maybe to the degree of Kirk in Star Trek Generations or Spock in last years Trek film. Where their appearances have relevance, but maybe they'll still be in the films entirety. We'll see.

Don't you even dare suggest we're all part of some Ernie-worshipping clique and that your dogmatic remarks from above are “alternative views”.

Exactly.

Honestly I'm all about new perspectives and considering ideas. After all the posts I've read by jedi, I'm convinced he's never watched the movies. I'm sure there's a Michael Bay forum that needs a troll.

I think they're going to have Winston be the one to go out and train the new recruits.

I just hope the studio doesn't interview and cut Ernie again just as in the previous 2 films.
