hello folks, me again saying that i had a blast at WWC 2009. a lot of great things but one thing must be said. For a ghostbusters fan it couldn't get better. there was so much gb related things it could make you cry. heres my little review of ghostbusters at Wizard World Chicago 2009.


Diamond Select: Now diamond Select was there but on the program for the con, all of the SDCC minimates EXCEPT ghostbusters were listed but being the 20th person in line. I ran there and BAM, sitting on the top shelf is the minimates that were only saposed to be at SDCC, those of you who replied to my post with an email were told up front about this and i have your sets waiting. also avalible was the GB 25th aniversery logo minimate, free with a purchase of any ghostbusters item. but since i bought enough of them for other people i had been given a few free ones thrown in.




Like at SDCC they had the samples for the Ghostbustes minimates series 2 and the TRU ghostbusters minimates series 2, i really like the white stay puft, and ray just looks good with the goggles. they also had the slimer and Stay puft bank. its funny cause you couldnt buy the Marshmallow man bank at the DST booth but at the TOYNK both you could get the staypuft bank. so i picked one up for myself. they are very nice




Dealers: now most of the con was people selling the stuff they brought with them. ghostbusters made several apperainces. I myself bout about 5 loose RGB figures and 1 EGB house ghost. one thing that only several dealers had was the SDCC egon. the prices were absolutly terrible, the minimum price i saw was 40 dollars. there were also people selling weird gb badges, patches and anything they could put the logo on.



Artists: now there were some artists doing ghostbusters art, i myself was finally able to get my long awaited stay puft sketch from Ghostbusters: The Other Side, inker Tom Nuygen I also was lucky enough to run into a fellow ghostbusters.net member IrieMangaStudios doing his gb art, I loved his style and he was actuallly nice about signing it. I also got a few smaller sketches from various artists that ill post pics of later casue they are one of a kind and i dont want good pics on the net.



Cosplayers: there were about 15 people dressed up in full ghostbusters outfits. they were pretty cool, got my pic taken or pics of as many as i can. I alos ran into Zack from Ghostbusters Chicago. nice to see his new flight suit, took a nice pic with the others as well, a nice update from the frist GB:tos signing last year. in a few pics see a custom shirt a guy was wearing that i just had to take a picture of.








Ernie Hudson: the main reason I went to the convention was to meet this man, he wasnt saposed to be there any days except sunday but he ended up coing on saterday as well. A really nice guy, he would actually talk to you while he was signign autographs. He also had the biggest line out of any celeb there. you can tell times starting to catch up with him.

Looks like a blast man. I can't wait to go to my next Con. Not sure when it will be, but I thoroughly enjoyed NYCC last year.

oh yeah, i had a good time, i really didnt know what to expect since this was my first time going to a con.
