GB on PS1/PS2, nintendo, Xbox… would it do well? with a slight similarity to WYOM's EGB game post.(with a couple of modifications of course.)

Personally? No. I mean, it'd do well with (of course) the GB fans, but I don't feel it'd be a huge success with overall gamers.

Maybe, but there's a lot of us, and I'm sure there are even more who just aren't registered here at GBN.

I think the game would be pretty successful, if done properly.

I played the ROM of that Extreme Ghostbusters gameboy game, and i can honestly say that game is dumb :-P

I think a 3rd person type game would do well… Make it a 4 player game, and have to work as a team to catch ghosts, that would be AWESOME

I think it will do alright , cuz look at “EVIL DEAD : Hail To the KIng”(game) that came out last year, the first EvilDead film came out before GB, and There are as more fans as there are of GB and the game did well according to the fans. So “There might be a slim chance” it'll servive. If it's commercialized well it would probably do good. I'm out.

Personaly, I think it would be pretty sucessful. There's alot of Ghostheads all out there. Not just on this board. But thats if they do a real good job into the game. I think a 4 player game like ‘James Bond’ would definenty do swell. Kid's love those 4 player's action games. It'd be just like James Bond. Except you'd have Egon, Ray, Winston, and Peter as the characters. You'd have to team up and go in the awesome Ecto, to search the Marshmellow dude, etc. Slimer can be with you aswel. He can back up you in many ways. Maybe as bait just like they've done it to him in the real ghostbusters You'd have the original equipment, etc in the game. Once you fill the trap full, too, someone will have to release it in the containment unit. I truely think if the company does their best, and really put some efort into it, than the game would be a hit. That's what I think But believe what you wanna believe.

It would work. There are many that love GB, even if they aren't die-hard fans. If the game was advertised very well, those people would be reminded of GB, then that might respark their GB interest and they might buy the movies, the game, and maybe even surf on over on GBN or even The GB Database (my site).

Well I was thinking something more along the lines of Jedi Power Battles or whatever the heck it is called. but make it more…strategy oriented (and less difficult, that Jedi Power Battles game was tough!)


What would be really cool is if that was just the Multiplayer version of the game! and the real game was an RPG where you had to interact with other characters and stuff, do research etc.

Like maybe have it set up so that you look for one ghost at a time.

You've gotta FEEL like a Ghostbuster when playing it.
