Is it a bad thing, at the title screen seems to freeze, but maybe not the sound? could it just be i need to check the wires? could it be because a disk was in there for a while? should I panic?

first off don't panic. Next how old is your 360, Then explain exactly what is happening and I maybe able to help.

well you know when you turn it on, the spining X-Box logo. before that finishes, it just stops. It does NOT take me to the game. I've had it for a year i think.

Okay
1. check to see light on your power supply turns green
2. Also make sure that all the connections are tight.
3. Try to blow out the xbox a bit
4. If all else fells go into the corner get into the fetal position and cry for mommy. :-)
5. After a good cry session call 1-800-4my-xbox and their pretty good about getting your xbox repaired.

Once my XBox 360 got frozen in a Monster Madness level with too many enemies on screen… I had to reboot and start it again…. when I arrived the same level, it got frozen again… I got scared… so I changed the game (gears of war) and then everything was normal.

Days after I tried the Monster Madness game, arrived the frozen-part level… and I passed it well, no problem… kinda strange.

Never happened again.
