The main problem they had with the red ring of death was the part holding the chip down was a poor design, instead of using screws they used x clamps which flat out suck.

But as for the system you are referring too yes i heard of it. Its called a jasper system I believe (Jasper is refer to either the manufacturing company or the model not for certain which) The power required the system is a lot lower and the design of the hardware is a lot better from what I saw.

Here is a link to the article that will describe what's special about a jasper system and what to look for when buying a new xbox360. Take note people are view this from the stand point of hackers and are trying to make it portable.

wow guys, I did not expect this to turn into a debate between the X360 and PS3. I was simply asking if there is any specific things GBTVG has exclusively to each of the 2 consoles (i,e the SixAxis). lol.

I threw an xbox360 at a PS3 and they both broke.

i like to think that peace was achieved by my noble demonstration that really did happen. Honest.

Ah, the old “Video Game Console vs. Video Game Console” debate. Since I'm not up to another Flame War, I'll just come out truthfully.

Well, to be honest, I don't like the PS3. I never did. I only have it to play “Ecco The Dolphin: Defender of The Future” and other old PlayStation games. I'll never forgive Sony for ruining Star Wars Galaxies and ruining what could have been a good Head-Start for a US Remake of the Godzilla Franchise…

But I'm just strange that way! Now the Xbox 360. I loved it… Until I found out that it scratches my discs. Now I'm deathly afraid to play it because I do not want my beautiful video games to be increasingly damaged.

Here's the Verdict: Neither of them.
