it means IMBD is not reliable source of info. It is all based on rumors. The only good thing about it is that it generates alot of internet buzz. Good publicity for the potential sequel

IMDB is just like Wikipedia, anybody can edit it and add anything and pass the information as being truthful when it's not.

An example of this. For 4 years starting in 2000, IMDB listed a theatrical version of American McGee's Alice starring Sara Michelle Gellar. Information which was placed on Wikipedia at the same time.
