GBVA is right, a SOLID manifestation would more than likely burn up as we all know from both GB movies and many a cartoon shows, the proton packs are capable of a LOT of damage and therefore would probably roast the zombies like a marshmallow man

Simple: pull out the ol' atomic destabilizer. It will turn solid manifestations into ectoplasm, enabling the proton packs and traps to be effective. Zombies, werewolves, vampires, whatever: into the trap.

I gotta go with the proton burning method, but also Zombies are usually pretty slow, they could kick ass in some hand to hand combat, well maybe not now, but back in the day…
