First off, zombies are probably one of the easiest of all supernatural creatures to destroy….they're slow, they're dumb, and if you destroy the brain they die…..they're only usually dangerous in packs, and even then u can easily avoid them…..for a weapon, anyhting would probably do…hell even a bat would kill them if you hit them in the head……the proton packs would work, but i think they'd be a bit too slow they wouldn't be able to just wave it around, normal people would get killed…and massive damage would be caused. I'd say the best bet would be to use a chainsaw to dismember them and render them harmless…ala bruce campbell “Evil Dead 2/ Army of Darkness”……and a good example of survival when a place is zombie infested would have to be “Dawn of the Dead” or you could just hide go on a real tall building and pick them off with a sniper rifle.

Being a RE fan i have to agree with the rest of the RE fans and say "When GHostbusting you never know when you'll come across some solid spooky manifestation (zombies) so always carry a magnum of some sort ( it rarely take more then one shot to get rid of a zombie with this weapon) and reamember bustin' makes us feel good.

Juju zombies (zombies created through Vodoun) are a little trickier. It's not the brain that keeps ‘em alive….it’s the magic.

I think that something I found in the “Shooting Script” for GB that I found on Bill Emkow's site might answer that question.

With that and from seeing what the throwers did to the hotel and other stuff, I'd have to say that a zombie wouldn't stand a chance.

Hmmm, I don't know about zombies… It's more Resident Evil type, not Ghostbusters.

i just skipped everyone elses posts, and got to the point. if its repeated, it just my opinion.

it is possible to blow away zombies with the packs. pretty much on any setting, you can blow it away with ease. they did it to vampires, they did it to drywalled hallways, and they did it to marshmallows… i think its possible to do it to brainless, semi-lifeless forms such as zombies.

The ghostbusters would have to use shotguns to fight them.
