Hey everyone.

Did you know “Zuul” is actually a real name? Well, Zul is (with one “u”).

I was reading a fax the other day at work from our offices in Malaysia, and the name on the fax was “Zul”. So of course as any Ghosthead would do, I wrote all over the fax quoting lines from Ghostbusters, hehe. “I am Zuul, I am the Gatekeeper! We must prepare for the coming of Gozer!”.

Cheers,
Rick

Zul was an actual Hitchhite legend. (I might have misspelled that.)

I think he meant “Hichtite”. As in Zuul was a Demi-God, worshipped by the Hichtite's, Messopotamian's and Summarian's.

I don't know if that's how you spell it either, but I know that culture did exist. I saw them mentioned in a few text books when I studied Ancient Greece in High School a few years ago.

The Hittites (Hebrew Hittim) inhabited the land of Hatti in what is currently (I think) Anatolia, Turkey, and part of northern Syria. The exact origin of the Hittites is presently still unknown. In 1900 BC the land they invaded the land soon to be known as Hatti and forced their culture on the locals. As far as religion, the Hittites were polytheists. In fact, the Hittites had so many gods most are still unknown. They were also known for having large and elaborate temples and palaces.
